Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Jenison

I don’t know what’s wrong with this place. Three times I’ve been and the meat they give is terrible. Everytime I go it’s like they give me the gross leftovers or something. Not to mention the fries are always soggy… Don’t come here if you acually want good food, it’s now worth the risk. If your ok with spending 13$ on some mediocre cold sandwich than sure eat here.

Awesome food and good price. Wish there were some back in the Chicago suburbs! Will go back?

Editing my former 5 star review from 4 years ago. Dickey's has always been more expensive than other restaurants that serve food with a fast(ish) turnaround time, but that higher cost was always offset by ample portion sizes and excellent tasting food. This most recent visit I had was very disappointing. I bought the two meat plate which cost just over $16. I ordered a sausage and the brisket along with fries. What I got back was only 4 small slices of the sausage, and a few slices of brisket that were very dry. The only redeeming quality of the meal were the fries (which were delicious). I feel that the value proposition for us as customers has been lost. It's not a horrible place to go, but I definitely feel that my money is better spent elsewhere.

They unfortunately out of several menu items. I didn't receive the correct order and the store was pretty dirty. The food I did get was pretty good. Except the Mac n Cheese is really bland. Probably be a while till we think about visiting
