Latham House - Jersey City

This place has a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. The owners have deep roots in Jersey City and extensive experience in the restaurant industry, and it really shows! They treat every guest like family, and the food is outstanding. My favorite dish is the Greens and Grains, which you can customize with chicken or salmon; I wouldn't be surprised if you asked for steak and they happily accommodated. Kris, one of the owners, is just that kind of person. If you're Latin like me, you might miss her sarcasm, but one thing is certain—she exudes warmth and kindness. It’s the ideal spot for a nice dinner and a good conversation. Call me old-fashioned, but I prefer talking without having to shout over Rihanna. Thank you all for the delicious food and the wonderful ambiance!

Absolutely fantastic! The menu is straightforward and the food is hearty. The service is outstanding, both in the dining area and the kitchen, and the prices are quite reasonable. This place is far superior to other new restaurants in the area that prioritize appearance over quality and serve terrible food. Here, everything looks and tastes great!

It is by far best addition to our neighborhood in a longtime food amazing wonderful choices . Cocktails are great service on point and the bread pudding is my daughters fav and for a 6 year old that's a big plus . She eats only fine dining and it's yummy every time . Go with friends go with family .5 stars plus

Enjoyed the delicous eggplant duo last night for dinner. Owner Kris was friendly and cordial as she greeted us and discussed the history of her new establishment. The entire wait staff was knowledgeable and efficient. A must try place steps from Newark Avenue.
