We were in the area and decided to stop for lunch at this place based on its good Google reviews. When we first walked in, we were surprised at how small it was and were unsure about the quality of the food. However, it turned out to be amazing! The owner was very friendly, and we ordered the fish and chips with fresh homemade fries. The fries were incredibly fresh, and the halibut was delicious—the batter was light and thin, not greasy at all. All my friends were blown away by the great service and food. We would definitely return if given the opportunity. We're from Ontario and only wish they had fish and chips like this back home!

This place has been in operation for more than 30 years. Great food. Lobster rolls and fish and chips are the best of anywhere in Nova Scotia. Cozy little home town shop. Friendly and heart warming bunch of people. The sub I ordered was amazing.
