Quickstop Restaurant - JOGUES

This restaurant is consistently bustling and well-loved by many. It's perfect for a quick meal on the go, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The menu offers the typical starters that many people enjoy.

We didn't have many dining options and couldn't find a KFC anywhere nearby, so we decided to try Colonel's Farewell. This fast food joint is connected to a Pizza Hut, which was a pleasant surprise in such a remote location. It seems like there are similar setups in other small towns too. The food was decent and priced reasonably, although the place was quite crowded and we struggled to find a table. Eating outside wasn't an option due to the cold and wet weather. The restaurant could use a good cleaning, but given the conditions outside, it was understandable. Despite the minor issues, we would consider eating here again.

The prices at this restaurant are not as high as those in southern Ontario, but still quite reasonable by northern standards. The chili is highly recommended and delicious. The mini hot donuts are best enjoyed fresh, as they don't taste as good the next day. Be sure to eat them while they are still hot and fresh.

Dreadfully they do not serve kfc’s chicken. they serve pinty’s. they cannot order kfc's original huh. the price of food is ridiculous. here!

Even though it's a kfc and a pizza hut, the food is not the same as you receive at those establishments down south. The chicken is shipped battered and frozen, and then they bake it I think? anyways, it's not the same finger lickin good,...and doesn't even taste like the colonel's special blend of 11 herbs and spices. The menu is also incredibly limited, ie you can't buy larger than a medium pizza
