Riley's On Main - Johnston

The lunch buffet is the same every day, and the service is extremely lacking. I cannot recommend dining here for any reason!

The restaurant offers excellent southwestern cuisine served buffet style. We arrived about 30 minutes before lunch and were informed that some items were out, but we were welcome to check the buffet to see if we wanted to stay and eat. And we definitely did! What was available included perfectly seasoned green beans and butter beans, rice and potatoes with chicken gravy, sliced ham, delicious mac and cheese, small corn muffins, garlic cheese biscuits, and the best roast chicken livers I've ever had—they were incredibly tender! The service was just what you would expect—nothing extraordinary—but honestly, who cares when the food is so good!

The food was excellent. We dined there on a Sunday, and the sweet tea was outstanding!

Classic south buffet for a relaxing price.
