Luna Mexicana - Joliet

We were searching for a dinner spot when Google Maps guided us here. As a Mexican, I can confirm that the food is very authentic. The quality of the meat was excellent, and the portion sizes were generous. The service was also attentive. The decor added to the overall atmosphere, and I loved that the dishes were served on clay plates! I would definitely make the trip from the city to come back here!

First and foremost, I was greeted by incredibly friendly faces as soon as I walked in. The restaurant was super clean and charming, making me feel right at home. I started with fresh chips and warm homemade salsa, which were delicious, and the frozen margaritas really made my night. I also enjoyed fresh corn tortillas, generously topped with a variety of ingredients. I'm so glad I decided to visit this place!

There’s affordable parking to the left of the restaurant, and the red building really catches your eye! Once inside, the traditional Mexican decor creates a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. The tables are large, making them perfect for groups of four, and each one offers a great view of the kitchen and the lively environment. The bar area has a more modern vibe, yet still embraces the Mexican style. Our waitress was respectful and attentive, answering all our questions thoroughly. We ordered a large dish intended for two people, and it was both delicious and filling. It did take about 35 minutes to arrive, but the meal was definitely worth the wait. I highly recommend giving this place a try! I know I’ll be coming back!

Large selection of authentic Mexican cuisine. the server was very attentive with a wonderful personality. are large and tasteful. the decorations for a great environment for a fun time. they start with free chips and homemade salsa, which was really delicious. my family and I had a great time and were much full. we will return regularly. it was really cool that they had ceviche. the order is very large. fresh taste. tacos are very large with lots of meat. we had all the rest to go home. many parking spaces on the side of the building. the prices are very reasonable.

Pre graduation event dinner. Fresh homemade tortillas. Everything cooked to order. The staff was excellent. Relaxed environment. Clean. And above everything else the food was fantastic. Portions were large. I have zero complaints.
