Old Town Dairy - JONESBOROUGH

Food is always great along with the staff and the environment. I've eaten here since I was a little boy and I've always been quite expensive. I recommend this place if you just want an ice cream or a complete meal!

Went through the drive thru for late lunch last week. I hadn't eaten here in a minute because my favorite sandwich the cheese steak had become rubbery gristle for a year or three. I was pleasantly surprised to find the meat was tender tasty again like it was when I moved to Jonesborough over 10 years ago. The onions were cooked perfectly the cheese was gooey delicious. I would have given them 5 stars, but the fries even though they were cooked correctly were completely devoid of taste. I tried drowning them in salt then dipping them in mayo, but I gave up after 6 or 7 threw them away. I don't remember the fries ever being bad before. Next time I'll try the onion rings.

I ordered a peanut butter sundae and my husband got the soft serve cone and they were both delicious! A wonderful treat on a hot day!

Delicious! The sundae was fantastic, loaded with generous toppings. I really enjoyed the pecans. The dipped bowls and the chocolate, strawberry, and banana mixes were wonderful! I love supporting a local establishment.

This place was amazing! We visited on a Monday when they had a special on hot dogs and fries for just $2. My husband ordered a Philly cheesesteak, and he’s had quite a few in his lifetime—he said this was one of the best he’s ever had! We’ve definitely found a new favorite spot! Keep up the great work; we can’t wait to return.
