Bookhouse Cinema - Joplin

I absolutely love the ambiance of this place. The staff is fantastic and very accommodating. I have serious food allergies and can safely dine here regularly.

This restaurant is cozy and has a small movie theater. They offer delicious alcoholic drinks (don't forget to ask about the yellow submarine)! On movie nights during the MSSU country themed semester, they provide complimentary popcorn and water. Seating in the theater is limited, so be sure to arrive early or call ahead to reserve your spot!

Nice place to enjoy a good chat the place is very small but cozy and you can also enjoy a movie, they only have a few seats but that makes it more intimate and a very comfortable place.

Pub food found in the same building as an independent cinema with a full plant based menu not what I expected to find in a somewhat small town. If, like me, you find yourself driving through Joplin, stop on by! The fries are clearly handmade in house thick cut and with the potato skin still on! I had a vegan raspberry vanilla Italian soda which was cute and delicious(ask which vegan milk if you have a nut allergy, sign said oat but employee told me they only had almond milk). I had the tempeh blt which was only okay for me, but they had many other options I could choose from. Last, but not least, they had vegan apple pie and vegan cherry pie. You will not be disappointed!
