Bidra med feedbackBest place to eat. Perfect combo between French and American eatery. Thé raclette and goat cheese salad is the best option. Trust me!
It was our first time up at Mt. Laguna and we loved the Pine House the minute we walked in the front door. The owners are lovely french people and the food reflects their heritage. We started our meal with a fresh baguette and butter. Ended our meal with a Creme Brule. We are definitely going back.
I loved the European flair as the owners are Parisian. I haven't had a meal I didn't like and I've had several. It's rustic and the dining area has lots of knotty wood ceiling and walls. I brought my friend and she loved it. She plans on coming back
I reviewed this place before it went under new french ownership. Stopped in on memorial day and it was extremely busy. We sat for 15min and nobody even took a drink order. In that 15min, we heard the cook getting yelled at numerous times. The waitress looked scared. Sad cause it was a nice place. We left after 15min wait. As we left we saw all the order tickets hanging we would have been there for at least two hours. Tourists who never see a mountain should eat here. Plenty of other mountain resorts around to choose from. Will never come back here. If staff are that rude to each other, tourists flood this place, no food is worth that.
A hidden gem! We were delightfully surprised to stumble across this fantastic French American restaurant. The service and food are great. The escargots are delicious and the burgers with some raclette on top are the perfect way to refuel after a day of hiking. They have a nice selection of wine as well. We will be back to try the other French items on the menu.
