Fat Toad Billiards - Junction City

I had high hopes for fat toads. I’ve gone to play pool here many times since they opened till they recently closed. At first it seemed extremely nice As far as the pool tables the sticks ect. However even in the beginning the drinks were over poured, staff was rude at times and simple things like tp didn’t seem to get stocked in the restrooms. The original menu was great for a local bar. However the quality did slowly go down hill. Slowly but surely noticed the bartenders getting sloppy with how and who they would charge and seemed like they had a difficult time keeping track of who got what. Mostly came here for the pool however the tables were looking rough the last time we visited and tables were missing racks and the last handful of times we’d get our balls they would be completely cracked literally had a ball spilt in two when we picked it up from the waitress/bartender. Heck there were times we had to wait for a full set of balls that were in one piece. Originally the the sticks they had were great but quickly they took a beating. I feel as if there was better up keep and a better management system with people who were dedicated and cared about this business it would still be going strong. One can only hope that if this place ever reopened management would hold on strong to their passion and hire better trained staff or train them better along with keeping the equipment up to par. And hopefully the karaoke would be much more limited! Hope the best for everyone that was apart of this business.

Terrible service to begin with. Also can you guys get some likeable bartenders. Just want to add how the hell do you charge 10 dollars for a single Jack on the rocks. You guys suck.

Completely ridiculous pricing, seemed like the whole place was very unprofessional and definitely uninviting.

Everything you can expect from a small time bar environment. Friday night and the staff were more interested in rubbing out each other's shoulder knots at the bar then figuring out simple mixed drinks with a well stocked liquor supply. Karaoke night ran late to start and no refund (or compensation offer) for paid jukebox song selection cut short when they were finally ready. They're the only place to go so pre game and be self sustained.

Drinks were reasonably priced and the wait for a pool table was not too long I usually have a good time when I go with my work buddies
