Coppa - Juneau

With wood accents, lots of windows, and glass dishes, Coppa has become my favorite place to both grab a quick cup of something warm or sit with friends for a longer bit. The staff is friendly and helpful. Most importantly though, they make a great cup of coffee! Also, Friday is Coppa donut day and they sell out fast. Be sure to stop in and try one of their delicious seasonal treats before they are gone. Dietary restrictions: Well labeled for allergies and many alternative milk options!

Coffee (latte) is nothing to write home about, but these are the most proficient baristas we’ve found in Juneau so far. Milk wasn’t steamed quite properly, but they achieved a decent micro foam on top. The service is ok friendly enough, but a little brisk. We ordered some cinnamon rolls and were surprised they didn’t heat them up, or at least offer to little touches like that would make for a more pleasant experience. The vibe is standard coffee shop, cozy, with some lovely local artwork. I can’t speak to the quality of the food aside from the baked goods.
