Sammy's Beach Bar Grill - Kahului

Sammy was a decent experience. As an aviation enthusiast, I really enjoyed the views. The menu and ordering system were entirely based on mobile QR codes, which unfortunately didn’t work for us. While the menu wasn’t very extensive, it was suitable for airport food. I had a burger with avocado and speck, and it was actually quite tasty. It definitely fits the bill while at OGG.

The service was quick, and the food was tasty. Although the menu was somewhat limited, I found the prices a bit high, which is understandable since we are in Hawaii and it's located at the airport. I ordered the loco moco, while my husband went for the Sammy Beach Burger.

This is a fantastic spot to pass the time at the airport, but I have to admit I'm not a fan of the QR code system. It rarely works properly, and I find it quite frustrating. The only beneficiaries seem to be the business owners who want to reduce staff and increase their profits. Can we please return to having physical menus and more staff?

Yummy. outside door with fresh air. we ordered chicken bites for my son and he really likes it. my daughter loves to finish the salat with huh. a nice place to spend time when they arrive early at the airport.

Avoid this place at all costs, it deserves less than 1 star. The food is extremely expensive and very mediocre. It also took a good chunk of time to get served at the bar. To top it all off, the bartender yelled at another lady sitting at the bar. I will say, she was nice to us. Just go somewhere else or buy a pre-made sandwich for a better meal.
