Tropical Dreams - Kailua-Kona

The staff here is incredibly friendly, and I absolutely love this location! The spacious seating area offers stunning views of the water. We indulged in the smoothies and shaved ice multiple times—they were delicious! The prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is fantastic. It's a lovely spot to unwind, where you can hear the waves and see colorful fish swimming in the water. The prices are fair, and the flavors are outstanding! There's no artificial syrup taste; they use real fruit instead. My fiancé tried the kona coffee-flavored shaved ice, which is made with real ice cream for added richness. I truly appreciate that they avoid using syrups; the taste is so much better!

The service was impressively quick, especially since they shave a block of ice for each customer. We had a wonderful experience overall. The kids enjoyed their ice, while we indulged in delicious shaved ice cream.

The restaurant had a very friendly server, and the bananas and chocolate ice cream were delicious. The razor ice cream was also quite good. We enjoyed the stunning view of the sea and some palm trees. It was a beautiful experience!
