Bidra med feedbackMy family has been celebrating in juni for many years in the formaggio grill the birthday of a family member, and today's celebration has the best eating of all time. the birthday child always ordered the garlic ribeye steak, and the presentation of this year was more great than ever and had a generous portion of vegetable clothing. our family of 6 enjoyed the formaggio house salad, the zesty kale salad and the incredibly savory charred brussel sprouts that stole the appetizer show. all these sweet dishes were generously cut and easily divided. our main dishes have the braised short ribs ala bourguignon (the meat slightly fell away), the chicken marsala (the local oyster mushrooms of captain farms in waianae gave the dish a unique taste,) and the impossibility bolognese (I was a bit skeptical at the beginning, but the first savory to the homemade Pomodoro sauce convinced me a wise choice. a keiki in our party made a special request for sauteed garnels, and she was rewarded with 8 or so jumbo garnels in a delicious butter and crumb sauce. I recommend formaggio grill – it was transformed by chefs who know what they do.
Daniel was a great server! We loved what we ordered, with the exception of the calamari fritti. It was barely fried. However, the mushroom risotto and bruschetta were outstanding. And the wine and cocktails were faultless.

Very enjoyable dining experience. The short ribs and grilled Brussels Sprouts are awesome dishes, seriously some of the best food I’ve had on Oahu. Service was fine.The wine, Ventoux, also great. Order wine and avoid the cocktails.
GREAT to see Formaggios's with lots of customers. MOST are visitors and it's too bad we'll see all that business lost because of the new STR laws here as of 10/1/22.
