Koa Beach - Kalamata

Very nice terrace for hanging out. We were there for a late lunch and the food was really good. The Quinoa salad and the turkey burger (no rolls we are some nice delicious surprises. Also I had the best cappuccino during our 10 days vacation! The next taste of special coffee. You have to try the chocolate soaps with pistacchio ice cream instead of the Spanish vanilla ice cream; you will love the novelty: Serving was also very fast and the staff was careful to get the empty dishes from the table and make sure nothing is missing.

The upper part has a very modern design and is very aesthetic. It’s suitable to chill out drink coffee or beer and swim in the pool. The sun beds are pretty nice but the beach part is separated with the upper part and they seem like two different places. The service is good and the staff is friendly. The beach is ok and the sea is not among the best in the area due to some large rocks when you enter the sea.

A friend of mine and I did Ironman 70.3 Greece and for our bike testing ride we saw a sign that lead us down a cool little area and then dead ended at this bar. Cool little spot for sure. Confusing part is that the waitress told us that they had just opened and we were the first ever customers... but I am seeing reviews from a year ago so I am not sure if I misunderstood. The bar itself looks awesome and the views are wonderful.

Great beach bar, food was good. Music was ok but mostly commercial dance music. Left when there was way too much treble with the acoustics.

Nice place, beautiful views, service somewhat slow but it’s rather reasonable since this place gets busy for 2 months each year. A little too expensive for what it is. I feel they are underpaying the servers, they work too many hours under the sun for peanuts. Panagiotis Chronopoulos is an excellent server.
