Palm Heaven Marari Homely Food

De la cuisine simple mais absolument délicieuse fait sur place dès votre commande. Vraiment pas cher de tout. Nous sommes revenus tous les jours pour l'ambiance et l'accueil en plus d'un très bon rapport qualité/prix. Nous avons rencontré beaucoup de personnes adorables, reçu beaucoup de conseils (Ashley connais vraiment bien le région) et beaucoup d'amour. Les pancakes au noix de coco, le poulet au curry sont des délices et je recommande aussi le thé au gingembre. C'est un des rares endroits ou un peu prendre un café. C'est simple, juste un hut sur la plage mais quel bonheur!

We loved the food at Palm Heaven, it's simple but delicious... The fish and prawns are the freshest you can get, and the chef (aka Ashley's mum) spices them perfectly. Order either or both with a green salad and a lemon soda. You won't regret it :) We also made good friends with Ashley and throughout our holiday, he helped us with organising tours, transport, accommodation (pretty much anything). He always looked out for us...he's a very cool and trustworthy guy!

This beach side shack is a lovely location and the family are utterly charming I recommend for that alone. However we were disappointed in the home cooked food as we felt that the veg curry,vegatables were out of a tin and not warmed through enough. The veg curry was not very flavoursome and was very watery. I do not recommend if you have a delicate tummy!

Ashley was very welcoming and friendly and taught the kids to say 'how are you' in Malayalam. His friend who runs coffee bay round the corner had just taught them to count to 10 so now they are pretty much fluent! Besides this he served lovely fresh fish with a nice veg curry - though it was a little too 'unspicy' (specifically for westerners) for our taste - so ask for chilli if you want it! He also provided a Carom board so we wiled away an hour or two there in the shade!

This is a gem of a place at the beach. There aren't many choices but eating here is well worth it. Lovely owners and delicious food. Highly recommended.
