Kalkaska Big Boy

Our group of six visited this restaurant on Easter Sunday because it was one of the few places open. Every staff member we encountered was fantastic and provided excellent service. Several people in our party had never been to a Big Boy before and were pleasantly surprised by the wide array of choices on the menu. Everyone found something they enjoyed, and all the food was delicious. Given the current circumstances, where dining out often falls short of expectations, it was a refreshing experience to enjoy a meal in a restaurant again!

I recently visited a Big Boy for the first time and found it to be an interesting establishment. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, and the food was served hot and delicious. The service was quick and efficient. I do have two suggestions: it would be great if they could add Dr Pepper to the drink menu, and it would be nice to upgrade the booths, as they weren't very comfortable to sit on.

Stopped in for breakfast while passing through. Good food, great coffee, and very friendly folks. They were short-staffed on this day, but did a great job! A+

Stopped in for lunch and the food and service was amazing. I only had about 45 mins and the food was fantastic and I had plenty of time to eat and make it out on time.

Despite the restaurant being crowded and understaffed, our server worked hard to make sure we didn’t have to wait too long for our meals. They arrived hot and delicious!
