Finney's Crafthouse Porter Ranch

The quality of the food and service makes it worthwhile for my husband and me to visit this restaurant as often as we do.

This place would deserve a full 5 stars if it weren't for the unfriendly female bartender. She was quite rude and seemed to be in her own little world. I've visited twice, and both times we experienced the same poor service from her. If I decide to return, I will make sure to get her name, as she detracts from the overall experience at Finney's.

We had lunch at Finney's today, and the service was exceptional! Our server, Cameron (or Kamryn?), provided us with outstanding service. She was attentive, caring, and responsive, making us feel like VIPs. The food was excellent and perfectly seasoned, and the wait time was minimal. Prices were very reasonable as well. Thank you, Team Finney's, for a truly remarkable dining experience!

Like many restaurants nowadays, portion sizes here are a bit smaller for the price, which discourages me from ordering a second drink. My wine was small but enjoyable. My husband ordered the Bourbon Mash, which would have been fantastic if it hadn't tasted so diluted. Perhaps the other location has a better offering. To start, we shared a delicious Bavarian pretzel and dips. My husband loved the pepperoni pizza, while I had the Prime Rib Cheesesteak, which was better than many other places but still fell short in some areas. However, it improved significantly when I added some leftover mustard from the pretzel. The cheesesteak was served with fries, which I upgraded to truffle fries, along with what seemed to be house-made chips. Unfortunately, the fries were quite disappointing, but the chips were really tasty, even as leftovers. As someone who appreciates rich and bold flavors, I found the food to be a bit bland, though I believe most people would enjoy it. Texture, however, was spot on throughout the meal, which makes me excited to try more items from the menu.

The service was incredibly poor. I arrived with some friends and we sat outside. Our table was the only one that wasn't acknowledged despite every other table being attended to. We never got the opportunity to order food, put our name on the list for a table, or even place an order. The restaurant wasn't even that busy; it really seems like a case of bad management in terms of service and guest reception.
