The food was truly excellent and exceeded our expectations. lovely staff and atmosphere. but the food really blew our minds and the menu is unique and diverse.

Delicious food in a relaxed unassuming environment. Quick and very good service, this is a family owned restaurant and you really feel like you are a guest. Perfect place for pre-theater eats and a lovely bottle of wine. Thank you Arman for a lovely meal.

Running Goose is a unique spot with tasty food offerings that was in easy walking distance from the Pantages Theatre and most venues in the middle of Hollywood. We loved their upscale vegetarian Mexican-centric options including the Smoked Beet Quesadilla and the Corn and Carrot Tostadas. All three had great flavor and were presented nicely too. The Smoked Potatoes dish was pretty crave-worthy as well. Lots of smoked flavor on little potatoes. There are a handfull of other vegetarian options including a Tomato Tostado from the firsts menu, salads, and a couple of interesting looking mains like the Chèvre Gnochhi, and Vegan Pesto Vindaloo. We 'd love to come back and try them all. The staff also seemed genuinely happy that we were there with big smiles and a general air of gratitude. This is a nice place, with good tasting and unique foods. Well worth checking out. P.S. We closed our meal with the Horchata Creme Brule which was a nice re-invention of that classic dessert. Yum!

Since it opened Running Goose has had its ups and downs. A friend from out of town was visiting recently and I suggested we give this place a try again, I'm happy I did. This is a great lunch spot when you want something unique and fresh. We ordered the Gambas and of course... The Salted Cod Churros. Gambas These are perfectly cooked shrimp in a sauce you just want to drink up. It's the perfect blend of spicy, fresh, and garlicky shrimp with fresh tomatoes. Highly recommend. Salted Cod Churros Trust me, I get it, this sounded weird to me too the first time I came to Running Goose many years ago. BUT it's the best thing on the menu, hands down. I've sent many friends here just for these. They are perfectly flavored, textured, and melt in your mouth. Overall, highly recommend checking this place out. Keep in mind, one thing that is rough is finding parking if you're not someone that likes to valet.
