Rice and curry lunch was great banana blossom Sambal was of particular note! Fried rice also too notch. Nice location on the river, close to botanical gardens.

Most important thing is they don't accept Credit or Debit cards. Cash only. Food service was very good. You will get a awesome view when you are dining in this restaurant.

Decent tourist place with great views! I liked that dish with gourd. Generally speaking the restaurant is okay, so it's more about the views!

Food was good and enjoyable, we got the curry set dish (only Sri Lankan dish) which contains about 5 different dishes, 1 of them meat. 1 curry set is enough for 2, just get an extra serve of rice. Menu also includes western food. Good service, very polite and helpful. Also nice view of the river and mountains if you dine on the balcony. Only downside would be the price, its tourist pricing plus a 10% surcharge.

Nice restaurant on the Mahaweli River. the food is good and the atmosphere is relaxed. And the beer is nice and cold!
