Bidra med feedbackSteak was a cooked to order, have choices of grained or grass fed steak. we had bone marrow remover who smells terrible, but taste ok. pick them up when they want the experience, but I felt it's not worth it. I tried granular ribbed eye that was tasteful; my partner had fed gras filet, that was more juicy/tender. get the bone marker. beautiful selection of bar/beer. everything I felt was overpriced for what they receive (possibly related to pandemic). I go back to order from her butcher shop for some good meat cuts. this review is about right: 4-4.2
This place knows how to make a steak. the fact that the metzgerung is made there and they are involved in raising the beff, probably adds a lot to the great taste. ribeye was excellent along with the knochenmark appetizer. jalepeno maisbrot with narrow butter was excellent. huge beer selection for booting. the prizes are high, but they get what they pay.
The first time. wanted to give a higher rating, but for the price point it was only averaged. the pig bell appetizer first ordered and a beautiful glass cabernet sauvignon. wein was great. then ordered a 16oz kc strip (that was really a NY strip, but that is quite usual) with a “sweden” salat. still waiting for the pig bell, which was good, but a little surprised when the salat first appeared and it was not a “sweden”, but stiele of romain. tested good and fresh with blue cheese only expected, and a nice ran. awkward bell came after. I could say that it was something understated. I knew it was safe, but I wasn't surprised when it was a bit difficult. good taste but, but a little flavored. had a strange purple sauce with it that would have left out. then the strip came out. boiled to seduce properly, but naked bones, no hint at the seasoning at all. beef had a good taste, but would have increased by a little salt. expect to spend about $100 per person. Unfortunately I expected much better eating. ambiente and service kept this review from falling on a 2 stars.
Food and service were good. the place is very small. the menu seems to be a la carte and a little more on the expensive side. for what I ordered, I thought the meal should be a little cheaper if compared to other steak places I visited. but I would still recommend checking this place if it were in the opposite.
Best steak and all integrated farm to fork. Great bar staff (we sat downstairs at the bar). Not the cheapest but worth it. Would highly recommend.
