Hooters - Kansas City

The food is mediocre at best, definitely frozen. However, they get 4 stars because the wings were good, the service was impeccable, the bathrooms and restaurant were clean and all staff were extremely gracious with our group of 10 adults and 5 kids. While not my typical go-to, I was blown away by the level of service we received.

Food was pretty good. My wife's food was not so great. There was a sign posted that said basically to please be understanding as they are low on staff, and there was literally 1 server. I feel extremely bad for her, but she rocked it! It was cool to see the manager and stepping out to help as well.

I left here 45 minutes ago, my man and I sat, but a waitress never came to the bar manager who sat there, heard that I asked for a waitress. the waitress said, hold them tight and we're over there and discuss who would serve us BLACK people. we never got service, no water or nothing we left and went to chili’s? and received excellent service the first 5 minutes including a glass water. I went back to talk to the manager, but he looks ugly and looks very unprofessional as if he were sitting there on a hanger. only dirty face needs shave and washed unacceptable

Alexa was my Hootie tonight! She was friendly, fun!!! Highly recommend! Go treat yourself to some great food and even better company!!!

Just went this afternoon around 2 p.m. The restaurant was not busy at all. A few scattered tables with customers around the dining room. Our waitress Liberty approached our table right away. She took our drink and appetizer order. We then watched her immediately leave our table and clean several tables off before she entered in our order or got our drinks. Awhile later we placed our dinner order. We sat there for 30 min and still no appetizers which were all fried foods. Servers were sitting around in the dining area and at podium on their cell phones. There was no teamwork at all. Food sat in the window. At one point our server completely disappeared from the dining room. We never saw her again. We could see our appetizers sitting in the window while multiple servers were sitting and looking at their cell phones. I was appalled. I myself had been in the restaurant industry for many years and have also been in charge of numerous employees in a completely different industry. Never would I allow employees to sit on their cell phones while customers can see that. Very lazy and unprofessional. No one seemed to be in charge or overseeing anything. Finally after seeing our appetizers sitting in window for over 5 min we decided to walk out. Worst service I have ever had.
