As tourists in the Kansas City area, we were told that Jack Stack was the place for great barbecue—and it did not disappoint! From the moment we arrived, the restaurant impressed us. James, who greeted us, was incredible and managed to get us a spacious terrace seat despite the restaurant being crowded. Our server, Josh, was friendly, helpful, and very attentive to our dietary needs, particularly regarding allergies. For anyone with dietary preferences, it’s worth noting that Jack Stack BBQ offers an excellent allergen menu that clearly identifies the most common allergens in each dish. This made our dinner selection so much easier. The service was outstanding, and the food was exceptional. A huge thank you to James and Josh for providing us with a fantastic barbecue experience in Kansas City!

We chose this restaurant for our jubilee dinner, and it exceeded our expectations. The food was incredible, and the service was outstanding. Angela, our waitress, was fantastic. She provided us with great recommendations and her service was top-notch. Every dish was superb, even down to the pickles. I have to say that the sausage was my favorite among the meats, while the brisket was incredibly tender and perfectly seasoned. The burnt ends, both the pork and beef, were cooked to perfection. As for the garlic broccoli, it was the most amazing thing I've ever tasted! The boron and potatoes were good too, but the broccoli was out of this world! We will definitely be back, and I might even order some for delivery!

Melissa has taken exceptional care of us. We thoroughly enjoyed the incredible fire-kissed wings, barbecue shrimp, and burnt ends. The wings and shrimp were perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection. Unfortunately, the burnt ends were a bit dry, but the additional barbecue sauce provided helped to moisten them, making them much more enjoyable. The restaurant has a spacious, lively atmosphere and is overall very pleasant.

The atmosphere was fun and rustic and eating was great! I had the hunch and pulled sponge, the hunch was juicy and tender I highly recommend it! my man got the sausage and beef combo and really enjoyed it. so glad we stopped and tried. the restaurant is located near the railway station union, so that they can comfortably check it out and foot.
