Pickleman's Gourmet Cafe - Kansas City

I was surprised by this place. I had a special pizza made of Italian salami pepperoni and red onion. It was cooked to perfection and the flavor was one of the best tasting pizza I have had since moving to KC.

The Hog is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. The crispy thin crust is superb BUT THE TOPPINGS! OMG.

I ordered delivery last week, and the estimated time of arrival was set at 30 minutes. No problem there! I received my order in under 10 minutes. The delivery driver forgot my drink, but he seemed busy, so I didn’t mention it. About five minutes later, he returned with my drink and was very apologetic. Such a nice touch! The food is always excellent, too.

This was my first visit to this restaurant, and I was really impressed with the customer service. The food was absolutely amazing! I had the BBQ chicken, which I loved, while my boyfriend tried the meatballs and was absolutely enamored. A friend of ours had the salads and really enjoyed them as well. They also practiced proper sanitation, which was reassuring. Overall, I had a great experience and plan to come back. If you're looking for something unique, Picklemans also offers pizza, and the soups sound delicious. I expected the place to be busier given its location at that intersection.
