Bidra med feedbackI would suggest trying the lunch buffet as it offers a good value, but otherwise, the restaurant can be on the pricier side. They are usually accommodating to vegan diners, so don't hesitate to let them know your dietary preferences.
I used to dine at this restaurant before I became vegan, and I can no longer order my favorite chicken tikka masala. However, it is nice that they offer vegan options. The roti is smaller compared to naan but at least they have a bread that I can eat. My favorite dish is the vegetable pakora. Unfortunately, none of the extras like mango lassi or chai tea are vegan. It's disappointing that they don't offer much value for their money, especially when dining with non-vegans who always help themselves to your food. It takes away some of the joy of going out for Indian food when you can't enjoy it fully.
The menu has clearly marked vegan options, as well as other dishes that can be made vegan upon request.
They have a vegetarian section on their menu and condition that are vegan from them. They are about vegan options and how to make different dishes vegan. her lunch buffet has in the usually only a vegan escape option, but her paprika and rice are vegan so load, they are delicious! the personal is super friendly and accommodating!
We decided to try Seva, even though it's a bit of a drive for us, because of the reviews. And it lived up to it's hype! Pretty busy around noon on Sunday, but we were still seated immediately. Asked the waitress about vegan options on the buffet and she didn't know, but gave me a menu to order from and pointed out the vegan options on it. But then the owner came over and showed me which items on the buffet were vegan, AND offered to make me an additional entree from the menu complimentary! On the buffet, the vegan options were rice, vegetable pakora, daal, and aloo gobi. They also made me a vegan squash dish from the menu and some roti (as the naan is not vegan). We paid $13 each for the lunch buffet (I think weekend prices are different from weekday). Everything I had was phenomenal! I've never had squash at an Indian restaurant before, and it was spiced well with a hint of sweetness that I loved. The owner stopped by a few times to see how everything was, and the waitress never let our water glasses get low. I can't wait to go back to try the rest of their menu!!!
