Sweet Siam - Kansas City

Food is fine, not spectacular, my biggest complaint is the smell of the place. It's a thick chemical scent. No idea what it's from, but the Thai place here before them did not have this smell. I've been here several times, so it's not a once off experience.

Overall experience was great. Food tasted amazing and servings were nice (I like big portions). The personnel are ok, good attitude, though perhaps a bit inattentive. The only thing I would really focus on improving, that would impact how often I eat here, is the cooking time. It took about 25-30 minutes to receive out food and they weren’t really busy at all, only about half of the restaurant was full. Other than that, it was a good experience.

Was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was (Penang Curry). The service was also good. Glad it was nice enough to sit outside because, when we arrived, the dining room had a strong smell of some sort of cleaning solution (Pine Sol/Me. Clean).

The restaurant had an unpleasant smell. We didn’t go elsewhere because it was packed elsewhere in Westport and had no reservations. The food was ok. We won’t come back though.
