Tao Tao - Kansas City

OMG Chef Anne food at this establishment is absolutely delicious!!! I love talking to her daughter who is very sweet and kind when placing and/or picking up my order. They feed you, as they are not stingy with the food. Lastly the food is always steaming hot. This is the only Chinese restaurant I eat at, because of the great people and service.

This restaurant offers top-notch service, affordable prices, and delicious food. If you're craving Chinese cuisine in Kansas City, this is the place to go. The chicken dishes are outstanding and the selection of Rangoon options, both savory and sweet, are a must-try.

Annie used to make the best Chinese food in Kansas City. The shrimp egg rolls and original crab Rangoon were amazing. However, since her kids took over, the quality of the food has significantly declined. I believe her son should come back to help run Tao Tao and bring back the delicious Annie flavors to the food.

My boyfriend and i have been searching for a Chinese restaurant that will become our new spot and i’ve definitely found my place! Tina is so kind and makes you feel right at home and Chef Annie’s food is beyond amazing. it was the best lo mein i’ve had and the variety of crab rangoon’s are definitely give it a try!

Yesterday I had the honor of going to Tao Taos restaurant and spending a few hours with Anna and Tina, I’d met Tina at Wabash for her Birthday and we connected.I grew up going to Kona Kia at KCI airport, not knowing Tina’s parents worked there when I was younger.The cashew chicken was exactly how I remembered it, melt in your mouth heaven, also the. Meaty rice and noodles, and all meat fried rice,,Thank you momma Anna , for the Amazing and delicious memories,, I may be 45 minutes away, but I will be back weekly and for the new extended family I now have.if you’ve never been there, oh my GOD you have to go , Tina is a wave of love and respect and compassion she showed the customers, she treated them like family,,Please go , you will not be disappointed
