Sukhothai - Kapaa

I got paranoid after sitting and reading reviews, but this place is not abhorred by less than 4.5 stars. Many reviewers complain about prices, but everything is expensive on distant islands. The lady who leads the place was nothing but sweet for me, also as tourists, and the food was not bad and was indeed quite similar to what you would get in LA.

Your trip is incomplete if you do not buy a $3 square of their homemade butter mochi and pass it around the car for everyone to take a bite. Corner squares of course the best! We returned a 2nd time to buy more as souvenirs to take home for everyone to try.

Absolutely delicious Thai cuisine! We always request our food to be spicy, and it did not disappoint. We'll definitely be back!

The food was absolutely delicious! The service was excellent, and everything we ordered came out quickly and was fantastic. This is Taro Dave's favorite spot, and it's easy to see why. I highly recommend it, especially if you’re new to the area. The curry, eggplant, and Godfather dishes are particularly outstanding. As someone from California, I can say this is the best Thai food I’ve had in quite a while!

The Thai food here is excellent. The woman ordered the pad kra pow and asked for it to be spicy. While we were sitting in the restaurant, we could hear everyone coughing when their meals were served, which is a good sign that the food is authentic and delicious!
