Bidra med feedbackJust not the same flavors! I ordered to go last week and was disappointed with the food. I ordered Tum Yum Soup, Stuffed Chicken Wings with Peanut Butter Sauce, and Pork Pad Thai Noodles, Jasmine Rice. The flavors were out. You must have changed chefs. The Stuffed Chicken Wings were dry and Peanut Butter Sauce was not the same. The Pork Pad Thai Noodles taste had also changed and was not to taste. I ordered Jasmine Rice and got Cal Rose Rice. One thing is certain that their price rose and the taste was lacking. I do not think I will order again and Thai Lao Restaurant will not recommend to friends either.
I give them 4.5 stars. Flavors were good and authentic. Appropriate shares and price, but I have complaints. I was never asked how spicy I wanted the dishes and they came without spices, but that's no problem, I just requested some chili flakes. You even calculate extra to get the food thai spicy and then even more for lao wicy that is strange for me. Sticky rice was an extra $3,50, which is good, but the rice was very yellow, suggesting it is not fresh. Oahu generally has better Thai food than all other islands. This place is good, but the service is so. But I would still come here for the flavors. Thai tea was also good. Not watered and full of taste.
If you are on this side of the island and want something authentic Thai, this could be your only option. The flavors were solid enough, but do not expect fresh food. In addition, you expect to pay $3.50 for 2 cups of rice. Only
I was happily chowing down on my Chicken Pad Thai then i realized I was chewing on a piece of an egg shell
Good, clean place. We got the pad thai, Americanized- good for kids. The tamarind soup was interesting w raised for mussels and shrimp but got calamari and 2 shrimp, it was fine, we left it out. Papaya salad was awesome, we got medium and it was quite spicy. Larb gai was my fave, they made it mild, smaller portion. Tip was included, which is fine and makes senses as no one checked on us: maybe I should have. Tried my usual red curry!
