I was a little skeptical back after a very long time, but first look at the entrance and shortly after the walk into the restaurant. wow I went after a year, customer service, menu and test everything was great as expected. Have been going to Yuan Tung since I was a kid and must say the quality and quantity has been consistent. Love their hot and sour soup, chicken lollipop, bbq squid, spicy schezwan fish, chicken manchurian, beef chilly and American chopsuey. Staff is well trained and very helpful.

Yuan Tung is one if the oldest Chinese Restaurants in Karachi. Must be operating for the last 40 plus years. I am a regular customer here. The taste is consistently good. Dry Prawns with chillies are lip-smacking. Sweet and sour prawns and chicken both are highly recommended. Dry beef chilli is not to be missed. Take my words and Visit here...

No matter after how much time I visit this place, it always has the same food quality and taste. It’s a great childhood memory and my love for Chinese food also stems from places like these. Coming to the review, ambiance is old school and the entrance doesn’t seem wheelchair accessible. Also, parking can be tricky if it’s the rush hour as there is no designated parking space. Food quality and quantity was good.

Karachi's top 3 authentic chinese restaurant. 50+ years old managed and owned by chinese couple who migrated to Pakistan in early 60s. We usually visit it for lunch. It is old style traditional chinese place so if you are looking for ambience and presentable food you should visit places like ginsoy but if you are looking for real taste do try them. This time we tried thai soup and prawn with chilli and vegetables and garlic rice. It is their highly recommended dish. Other than you can try chicken corn soup, garlic chicken, garlic prawn, chikcen with chilli and vegetables, chicken manchurian, Sizzling chicken, chilli chicken. Pricing is bit higher than others but trustworthy.
