Esperida - Karpathos

Visited August 2023. Excellent tavern in the village of Amoopi, truly delicious fish and typical Greek dishes. They often offer an aperitif or dessert at the end of the meal. Service: 5 Location: 5

Frankly, I don't understand all the positive reviews. We got a salad and macarones. The macarones weren't very good, the salad was quite good. What I think is wrong is the price, it is an unnecessarily expensive place compared to Karpathos standards (bread 3 euros, 1 liter bottle of water 3 euros, salad 13.50). Plus they don't serve anything upon arrival or before paying the bill as per tradition and compared to the taverns in the area. Frankly, I don't recommend it.
