Bidra med feedbackGulab is an Indian restaurant chain that also offers sweets. A few years ago, they began opening restaurants in Kathmandu. It is similar to Angan and offers a variety of South Indian dishes such as idli, dosa, and uttapam. In the New Road area, there are other options for dosa like Angan, Nandan, and Rameshwaram. Rameshwaram is more affordable and just as good as the others in my opinion. If you are very hungry and can't decide between idli, dosa, uttapam, and vada, Gulab offers a nice South Indian platter.
Gulab is an Indian restaurant chain known for their delicious sweets. In recent years, they have expanded to include restaurants in Kathmandu. Similar to Angan, Gulab offers a variety of South Indian dishes such as idli, dosa, uttapam, and more. Located in the New Road area, diners have plenty of options for dosa including Angan, Nandan, and Rameshwaram. However, Rameshwaram stands out for its affordability without compromising on taste. Gulab also offers a beautiful South Indian platter for those who are indecisive or very hungry and cannot choose between idli, dosa, uttapam, and vada. Overall, Gulab is a great option for a satisfying South Indian meal in Kathmandu.
