Bidra med feedbackThe food lacked any flavor and was genuinely unpleasant. The service was equally disappointing; our waiter was unfriendly, never smiled, and we had to ask for basic items like water. There were only a handful of patrons on a Saturday night, which should have been a red flag, but I decided to stay anyway—definitely regrettable. It's a shame because this place used to be bustling, lively, and known for its excellent food and warm service. I can confidently say this is the worst Mexican food I've had in Katy, Houston, or maybe even Texas.
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. All the dishes are spicy, and I specifically asked the waiter not to include any spice in my food due to my allergy. However, twice he brought back my meal with hot spices. This was the first time I’ve ever had this happen to me. I felt I had no choice but to wait for my friends to finish their meals before leaving. The atmosphere felt more like a jungle than a farm, and I believe they should consider changing the name of the place. Additionally, it was my friend's birthday, and when we brought a cake, they informed us we would be charged $15 to have it there. It seems they are out of touch, as places in Coral Gables usually don’t have such policies, and this restaurant, which I would call 'La Finca', feels like it's in a different country altogether. In the end, it was frustrating that the kitchen had to redo my dish twice, and the waiter seemed unbothered by the situation. Overall, I left with a less than favorable impression of the service and the management. Date: September 10, 2015, 8:30 PM.
The staff is incredibly friendly and wonderful, and I really appreciate how quickly the food is served. No other Mexican restaurants can compare!
There were multiple roaches visible in the restaurant, and when I brought it to the attention of the staff, they claimed it was just a prank. This seemed like an obvious lie, as they insisted the roaches were made of plastic.
One of the more horrific experiences that I have encountered in my life. The reason why I decided to move to Katy was due to it being one of the top 10 most diverse cities in the US. I walked in, no one greeted me or acknowledged. I went to the bar and same thing. The host went ahead and sat the person behind me in line and waited for them. Racism still exists and considering the tone of my skin is fairly tanned, I was not welcomed, appreciated, or served. After 5-10 min in the not busy restaurant, I got up and left. Thank goodness I didnt order anything because If i would have begged them to serve me who knows what they would have done to the food. Beware.
