Sabor Venezolano Katy

I tried the Picaña burger and it was amazing! It was definitely a Venezuelan-style burger. I also tried the mini mandocas, which were delicious. My wife ordered the Venezuelan Christmas plate (hallaca, hen salad, ham bread, and pork) which was good, though the hallaca could have been better. My son enjoyed the Cachapa that he ordered. The service was excellent and the staff were very knowledgeable in answering our questions. My only complaint is that the prices for the food were a bit high, but overall, it was a great dining experience.

This restaurant is a wonderful spot with a typical Venezuelan vibe. It may not be luxurious, but the food will surely take you back to your early days in Venezuela, enjoying hervidos, patacones, and tequeños with a Frescolita or a Malta! The music was at the perfect volume - not too loud to drown out conversations, but still lively. We had a fantastic time and look forward to returning soon!

I give this restaurant 2 stars because the food was good. However, the waitress was extremely rude. She seemed disappointed and made it clear that she was unhappy with the low tip I left, as I only paid $10. The staff should be more friendly and approachable.

Wonderful !!! It?s my second visit and I?m a big fan of their menu. The food is delicious. The service is excellent! They have so many options than one dish is not enough. At the top of my list: empanadas, la chicha, el chupe y el pabellón. Highly recommended!

Food is delicious, place is clean and prices are reasonable? but more importantly the service is amazing! As a Venezuelan this is very uncommon to find?Miguel and his manager would make the costumer feel like family !!!! I will definitely come back? Another thing: if you are going there just to compare the food with the competition well let me tell you something? that?s why they are competitors. Just enjoy!! Best venezuelan food in katy!
