There are few places like this, not only in istanbul, but in the world. it is not only a restaurant with high kitchen. it is more than a nostalgic place. it is not a museum where relics of pastness are presented randomly. 1924 is a mirror of man who created him in his current form. anton sasha put all his soul and imagination in this historic place to make sure everyone visit here is unique. istanbul is a city full of nostalgic melancholy and in 1924 is the apotheosis point.

What a great time we had in this restaurant that eating is excellent, the staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is great. the owner took the time to share the history of the restaurant. recommend this place in istanbul, one of my favorites. go there if you want to get a time trip with a nice lunch / dinner cocktails

Enjoyed a delicious meal at the historic 1924istanbul, where Turkey 's founding president Atatürk was once a notable regular, among diplomats and socialites, during the early days of the Turkish Republic. Love the way the restaurant puts in the effort to keep the place authentic and preserve a sense of its history atmosphere, even with a small table reserved for eternity for Atatürk. The delectable menu was classic traditional Russia/Eastern European fare and worth sampling. Istanbul is full of cultural culinary gems and with loads of history, and I would certainly recommend stopping by to experience what 1924istanbul has to offer! [Diner from Singapore]
