Beautiful restaurant but we ate outside in the beer garden, the menu is very local but the portions are big and very tasty. Naturally the beer is excellent.

We arrived there and the place looked beautiful, we were greeted by front of house and they were very helpful, after being seated the experienced changed, the waitress was very rude and wasn't interested as we were english speaking, we were sat there for 30 minutes before even being asked if we wanted any food. We asked for an english menu and we were told no very rudely, she never came back to us after that. We were waiting that long we decided to call and book somewhere else near by. She then threw my receipt on the floor when we left, I would not recommend this place at all, not english friendly. 11th june 2020

Very Disappointed. On the outside it’s looks beautiful and inviting, and the front of house ladies were very accommodating but this was all let down by our Waitress (Blonde Hair tied up). Upon us asking if they had a English menu available she quickly rolled her eyes at us and made a sly remark the ‘we don’t serve fries here!’ Before walking off with our drinks order. 30 minutes later we were still sat there waiting for her to come and take our food order. When no one came we decided to leave, at which point the same waitress ignored us for a further 10 minutes whilst trying to pay. During the payment she was again snappy with us, and when no tip was left she threw our receipt on the floor! Would not recommend this place at all based on our experience on 11/6/2020!

Today there was a trip to Kelheim in beautiful weather. Lunch, what do we do? GG on the phone is dead again. Somehow remembering that we had eaten well here, even if it was a long time ago. When our plates were empty, a “dreamer” asked if everything tasted and we were satisfied. The witch didn't go in completely and wondered if she should take us. Shortly afterwards she came back and said nice. In the meantime, the operation meant if we still want something. We shared with what we would pay. The Bondrucker is already on the man – Uh sorry, woman. She thanked us for a nice day and we were still very friendly. We find everything very nicely solved here, also all very nice and friendly, like 5 stars. There is a black cardboard folder with the data from the inn and inside there are the notes with the dishes. The card is very fleshy, but there are also a few dishes for the guests who do not like meat. There are also bread times and sausages. We had two alcohol-free wheat at 3,60 € each, Saures Kalbs Lüngerl with Semmelknödel Fresh herbs for 11,90 € full porkshax ́n with potato dumplings and herbal salad for 17,90 € The witch had a real size. The skin is super crispy and it tasted delicious when eating. It would be nice if you cut them in before, then it would be easier to hug at dinner. The meat is super delicate and juicy. It was very easy to get rid of the bone. There was also an additional knife. The rest of the meat also tasted delicious as a stew with potatoes the next day) There was nothing to remember from the taste, even in the absence of natural sauce. Strong taste, delicate caraway note, matched. The dumplings were now somewhat too soft, we prefer a firmer consistency. However, this tastes nothing, gets enough salt and a wonderful potato taste. The herbal salad was fresh, refined with caraway and tasted nice during the meal. What we didn't like was the sweet taste. We'd rather taste vinegar. Uninhabited for us the sweet. The acidic fertilizer was very delicious. Not too finely cut pieces with onion carrot cellar cube refined. It wasn't too liquid. The acid note was ideally present and matched by taste. The Semmelknödel again had a firmer consistency as we like it. Herbs were also absorbed here and there is nothing to complain about from the taste. It tasted us and we like to come back. Small things the last are 4.5 star ambience Nothing changed at the beer garden seat. The usual folding tables and chairs in brown. There is no seat cushion and is shaded by blue screens. On the table there is an ashtray, the cards are laid and plaid fabric tablecloths lie on the tables. The cutlery with the napkins is placed on a plate at the table.
