Pizzeria Il Porcino - Kelheim

I went to visit family in Kelheim and was taken out by my folks for a half English-German lunch. The decor at Il Porcino is a little rustic, which is to be expected in rural Bavaria. But you are not here for the decor, but for the food. If you are not a local, the place is a little bit out of the way, but well worth coming to just for the food. In the summer you may need to book I table I was told by my mother. The pizza is amazing and thin crusted. Lots of different flavours. One of the best I had in this part of Bavaria. We also had starters and dessert, which were great. The staff is very friendly, even when it is busy and we managed fine in German as well as in English. Thank you!

Absolutely delicious food. Very nice, friendly service. The dishes are authentic and a changing weekly card offers variety. The pizza at the neighboring table looked really good. Let's try them next time.

Who wants a lasagna as from the picture book is right here! Huge portion and taste first-class! After eating a homemade Tiramisu or Panna Cotta must not be missing, this is also a poem! Also very friendly owners, happy to recommend again and only!
