New Empress Chinese Cuisine - Kelowna

Terrible experience! The food was cold and mushy, ridiculously overpriced, and they sent the wrong items without offering a refund! I cannot recommend this place. Now my stomach hurts after trying to eat the barely edible parts of my order. Definitely do not recommend!!

Food was terrible, the stereotypical bad greasy Chinese takeout. Service was fast and friendly. Only go here if you're desperate and in a hurry.

(Edit: See, the bad reviews are one-time customers, almost gagging woth revolt, but long-time customers say great things. I'm suspicious the bad ones are probably competitors. I don't understand the negative reviews, since my family has been eating here on and off for more than 20 years and never had a problem. They are very good to their customers. We've always had good luck then? It seems awfully coincidental that people leave such complex negative reviews that I've never closed to experienced in decades. They give huge quantities, it tastes good amd is always hot. That's always been my experience, so it makes me feel bad for the owners reading this, that had never matched our experience. Especially when they mention another Chinese restaurant and that's better, and the comment's grammar sounds off for a native-speaker. I just read one of those. ? Makes me wonder.

Not one to complain or leave negative reviews typically however I wont be ordering from here again! Ordered the sesame chicken which wasnt chicken at all but instead some sort of coagulated ooze coated in sweet and sour sauce with a few sesame seeds thrown on top. Maybe the worst meal Ive had since moving to Kelowna over 15 years ago, ate as much as I could stomach on Sat and still feeling sick today a few days later, would NOT ADVISE eating here unfortunately, possibly the worst chinese food Ive ever had

Food was Hot and Fresh! Yummy Won Ton soup. Great value and large portions. Highly recommend.Parking: Lots of parking
