Wok Box - Kelowna

We walked in for a late lunch, and hoped to get what is advertised as "fresh Asian food." It looks appealing, and the open kitchen is a nice feature.The place was not busy. Unfortunately it was not a good experience: the few sprinkles of cilantro and a bit of lime don't make Asian type fast food fresh. The food is heavy on rice and a variety of noodles and poor in protein. The sauces are pre-packaged, and the server was unable to tell us whether the food contained MSG or not. We asked to substitute more vegetables for noodles, but they were unable to do this. As a result we are not intending to return. Lack of flexibility in a restaurant does not make for good service. Spend your money elsewhere!

Not great, not horrible, I found it fast and liked the open kitchen. Proteins are sparse, sauces are packaged, but some fresh veggies and good staff made it decent. Price points are midrange for Kelowna. I tried it out and I can't say I would recommend it, but it will do in a pinch if short on time.

I have taken out the Butter Chicken here on quite a few occasions and have also enjoyed the Thai Red Curry Chicken and the Thai Yellow Curry Chicken. Staff is always extremely friendly and provide efficient and great customer service.
