Bidra med feedbackI've been to kenai a lot. I'll take off when I work. I have never had a problem with the Kenai office, because I understand that as soon as I receive my briefs and there is a time frame for me to transmit the information they have legal 30 days from the date on which I take my work information on my case, the longer I take, the longer they take. if I miss information or they see that you work and you have not reported well, then this takes longer. Those who complain about it need more ppl duh, but there is not a lot of ppl that qualify for this job, unless they want to get certified and work for them then cut them slightly black, especially those of them with 7 children and too damn lazy to get a babysitter. they are dealing with dead accounts, so stop being so selfish
Every time I need to recertify for Food Stamps the next month the food stamps are not on my card on the 1st. Last time I waited a month and a 1/2. Stop sending me letters threatening me to get all my benefits will stop of I don't get paperwork in when you guys can't even get the paperwork out. My babies need these Even though I work. Never had this problem so often in the Anchorage office
As stated last year by the other reviewer they are understaffed and they never answer the phone. I have called them 2 times a week for the past 4 weeks and only got them to answer once and the person on the phone was not helpful and did not solve the issue. She said she would call me back and 2 weeks later I never received a call back from her. I always leave a message for them to call me back and they say they will respond within 24 hours and I have never received a phone call from them once. Extremely pathetic and unprofessional. Also every time and I am not exaggerating, every time I have a review for food stamps I turn the paper work in 1 week before the due date and the next months allocation of food stamps are 2-5 weeks late. This is devastating to our budget and stresses our family. You would think they would put priority on the allocation of life sustaining funds to help families in need. But I guess what can you expect from understaffed and bad trained government offices. I blame this on Obama and poor management at the Kenai office.
If i could give them a zero I would! I put my review in early and it's been a month yet they still haven't reviewed it! I don't get my food stamps until they do, how is that fair??
This is ridiculous. Never answers the phone, takes forever to recertify, and they dont work with you. We need these benefits, and yet we have to wait days for them. Seems like they dont even try at all. Seriously should get more staff and better training. You would think this division would be a top priority considering how many people need these benefits. Totally lame.
