The Old Stamp House - Kendal

Five stars aren’t enough! The restaurant is small, with limited seating, but the service is impeccable and friendly. They showcase the best food that Cumbria has to offer, and the quality, creativity, and flair are evident in every dish. There’s really nothing that could be improved! I visited in April and can’t wait to return soon.

This was our first experience dining at a Michelin-starred restaurant, and it exceeded our expectations. The staff was exceptional and incredibly knowledgeable about both food and wine. The atmosphere struck a perfect balance between cozy and modern. The cuisine was absolutely outstanding! I highly recommend this hidden gem in the heart of Ambleside.

This beautiful restaurant, located in the heart of the lakes, offers an excellent dining experience provided by a large team in a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. The standout dishes for me were the stuffed prawns in a delightful sauce and the perfectly cooked venison.

Fabulous restaurant ate here to the birthday of my mannes eating, personal ambience cleanliness excellent, certainly deserve the awards they have reached. thanks for an unforgettable evening.
