The ambiance was decent, with a DJ playing music that was initially quite loud, though the owner had him turn it down after a while. The DJ did play some good tunes. The lights were dimmed, and they placed small lamps on the tables, which added a cute touch but made it difficult to see the food. At one point, another table turned on the ceiling fan light above them, and the other diners started laughing, agreeing that we all needed more light. Our server was very sweet and accommodating. She seemed a bit overwhelmed, but every time she approached our table, she did so with a soft voice and a smile. However, the food took about an hour to arrive. The kids' meals came out first, so we watched them eat before our meals were finally served after they finished. At that point, the kids just sat and watched us eat, which was disappointing. While our server was lovely, I was quite let down by the overall service. On a positive note, the food was delicious! Everything we ordered was scrumptious, and we all enjoyed the flavors. Unfortunately, two of our orders were incorrect, possibly due to miscommunication with the loud music when the order was taken. Overall, I wouldn’t return to dine in with family, but I would consider ordering takeout or coming here for a girls' night out.

Crabbae Kenilworth has an amazing atmosphere with fantastic food! I either dine in or order from their Maplewood location, and it's always delicious! The staff and owner are very friendly, and I really enjoy the music that plays while I eat. I'm so glad we could help you celebrate your 3-year anniversary!

I made a reservation and was seated right away, but after waiting for 45 minutes without anyone taking our order, I became frustrated. To make matters worse, there were people arguing and cursing at each other in the restaurant. I ended up walking out. This was an embarrassing experience for my boyfriend's birthday.

Very good place to have a delicious meal and hear good music

The atmosphere was superb! Food taste and quality was horrible! Oxtails and broccoli was flavorless but the mash potatoes was great! Food was well overpriced to not even had been able to enjoy it.
