The Lab /take-out - Kenilworth

I wish I had taken photos, however I had the pleasure of trying both the Crispy Chicken sandwich The J Dr. (which was like pulled j meat on a bun) this past week while the Lab catered for a place I was temporarily working.I gave their card to family who live in the area told my mom we need to go there ourselves because it was flavorful and filling.

We booked the Lab Food Truck for our baby shower and I have to say our experience was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! We reached out very last minute and G responded with a “yes we can do it” without hesitation. Within the next week and half we worked out the details and they were very flexible with our schedule. They arrived 30 mins early to set up and right on time our guest began to order. We had roughly 45 guests at the baby shower and I kid you not I heard compliments about the food from at least 25 of them within the first 15 mins. The portions were huge and the food was amazing! I personally had the Short Rib tacos and The Dr. as my meal and I have to say for a southern boy that has had plenty of BBQ, that possibly could have been the best bbq sandwich I have ever had. My wife had the Bahn Mi and she was very impressed, even when she warmed up the rest later on that night. They also had a vegan option on the menu so they cater to all. I could go on about the food, only good reviews from all guests but I have to say the service and hospitality was even better. If you are having ANY event this food truck is the way to go! I will also add we had 3 trucks in mind for the event and they were the least expensive and had the bigger menu. I promise you won’t regret it.

It had an excellent wait staff, very pretty, and the food I had was very good.

Ran into this place just from searching for a quick bite and loved it. I had the pulled pork burger, absolutely delicious. The woman that served us was nice as well. Only thing I could complain about is a man was cursing her or for no reason.. kinda killed the vibe.
