Bidra med feedbackThis is currently my last night here. Room was very clean and presented well. That’s the only thing good. TV with no cable, there not fixing it. The dory closed, bar closed. From what I hear it’s never open. Pool closed the first two days of stay. Over grown landscaping and exterior needs cleaning and care. Continental breakfast not good. Place has so much potential but this is what happens when owned by a big firm that’s not present.
This was a bit disappointing, honestly. It was nice having the cottage, but the air conditioning did not work right, the internet was off half the time, there were too many bugs on beds, and the bar was never open. For $1,000 a night, this was not a good deal. I recommend people stay away from this location. Next time I would stay closer to the shopping area of KennebunkportNearby activities: Nothin nearby. They have a pool, but my kids did not want to use it.Walkability: Not walkable to anywhereFood drinks: None offered except for breakfast, which was OK.
Cute place with everything we needed. Ground floor room away from the pool was perfect a poolside room would be loud. Great place for families with kids pool was full of them! Game room has real games, ping pong, shuffleboard, and nightly s’mores are fun. Good locations you can walk downtown easily. Also recommend the free kayaking! Staff was super friendly. Rooms are not fancy but they’re clean and have good space.
Everything was perfect. Hannah the front desk agent that met us and checked us in was awesome. Our room was perfect the kids were so happy. From bikes to games and the pool the kids loved everything. A most enjoyable experience and look forward to staying again.
The customer service at this hotel is awful. I’ve traveled for business over the past twenty years and this is the first time I’ve felt inclined to post something about a hotel, and I’ve stayed in everything from a 5 star to a 2 star hotel. I booked their new cottage which claims to have a king size bed in one of the rooms. It does not have a king size bed. It was supposed to have a grill out back, but it did not. I explained the situation to the manager on duty as I checked out and she said that she understood that I might be upset about paying for something that was not accurately depicted on their website. I asked her to speak with her boss about what they felt would be appropriate and to please call me back by the end of the day. I also asked that she not charge my card until I heard back from her. Well, no return phone call and my card was charged in full an hour after I left yesterday. Lack of customer or lack of common courtesy, I would say both apply. It’s almost like they felt I would ignore it and they wouldn’t have to worry about it after I left. You are advertising things that you either don’t have or don’t supply to your guests pretty sure that is against the law in Maine.
