Bidra med feedbackI wouldn 't even call the food mediocre here and i probably should have taken the hint to just walk out when I asked about several dishes on the menu and my wait person just shook their head NO . Very expensive for food that I have better out of the freezer case at a convenience store.
I've stayed here more than a dozen times. The dining area isn't open until after five the bar has the same menu though. The food is ok. The hamburgers at decent. The po boys are generous enough. The staff although friendly is severely short handed when it comes to food service and bar service. The bar tender is constantly running back to the kitchen to retrieve orders and not sure what else. Let's just say I eat in when it's raining.
This restaurant cheats the clients. They stated they give us a 20% off or bill. When the bill came it shows 20%off, but is actually 6.6% when the math is done. They laughed that I caught it and said no one else does. BUYER BEWARE!!!
We ordered the chicken Alfredo, grilled redfish, and red beans and rice, and everything was excellent. The restaurant is located in the DoubleTree Hotel. The food was fresh, and the mashed potatoes were fantastic and homemade (not instant). The crab cakes were also packed with plenty of crab.
I have a few friends who work at this hotel, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to sugarcoat my experience. The food here really isn’t remarkable. I’ve had breakfast here several times for free, so I’m quite familiar with their runny eggs, bland breakfast potatoes, and greasy sausage links. Even when it was known as 2150 City Grill under Radisson, the food quality was just as low. On the positive side, Fab and Nina are incredibly friendly and do a great job taking care of their customers.
