Marlow's Tavern - Kennesaw

Enjoyed a long dinner with some friends so we only had a few entrees, a couple of appetizers, and cocktails. They offer St.Pauli girl NA! I was very excited! The service was adequate; not a real deal breaker as the place was quite busy for a Tuesday night at 8:00..... Still, I knock a little for not planning well for what is always a packed house. The Shrimp and Grits was a surprise with polenta and while the shrimp were excellently prepared (I 'm a STICKLER for not overcooking seafood-I 'm a coastal snob! the polenta was just OK. the sauce /spices saved the day, and I cleaned my plate. Salmon was the low light, but was well prepared as well, very tender and full of flavor. The fish tacos were really good too, and I 'm judging that by how little was shared! As usual, we altered the menu items a bit to taste and were accommodated without any trouble or hesitation, and ended with both 'special ' desserts since our wait staff called them 'legendary ' (warm chocolate cake with ice cream and a creme brûlée..... Truly decadent . I had to agree. This was not my first trip to this location of the city franchise, but consistent and delicious..... We 'll be back!

Loud! The live from the patio is piped into the main dining area, so loud everyone had to shout over the music...a little less than ideal. The service was good, the good was good (I had the shrimp po'boy, it isn't even close to New Orleans style as advertised but good anyway. My daughter had the cheeseburger, it was too salty to be enjoyable. Good selection of beers; I'd go back but avoid the burger...parking is totally inadequate....

Good food, atmosphere, music. Only suggestions is move the smokers away from the front door. Wrong first last impression.

Heading home from vacation, stopped in to Marlow's for a late dinner.Very friendly staff. The manager even came over to personnely welcome us as a new costumer. Our server was friendly. I had the black bean burger which was very good. My wife had the burger lettuce wrap which she said was excellent.I'd recommend this place for a good meal, and a friendly service.

We LOVE Marrow's. We discovered it about two weeks ago, and have been at least three times already. Their food quality is really the best in town, our new favorite go to resturaunt for sure.
