Bidra med feedbackThe same great food as always from Porters over the years. Stopped at about 12:30 and gladly there was no line to wait. Poppers were good as usual, but today the turkey was rather dry and not as humid as Ususal. I really enjoy their in-laws freshly tortured in dressing when you order, so it is still beautiful and crisp, and just the right amount of sweet taste. Service was fast and friendly, and the business was tidy and tidy.
The loaded baked potato was really good. As well as the Mac and cheese, and baked beans. The banana pudding was my favorite. Didn't even get a pic of it
A bit disappointing; look at the pictures. The 1/2 brisket and a jalapeño popper on 1 tray and a Jonny Sandwich, coleslaw and a jalapeño poppers on the other with 2 sodas was nearly $50. The credit card machine shows tips starting at 20% for walk up counter service. The sandwich was good , just lacked any smoke flavor. It was big and close on value. The coleslaw was just shredded cabbage, if there was sauce it was extremely light. The sauces were quite good and made the meal much better. This place has potential just needs to work on presentation and value
Came here with my dad for lunch. Was kinda mixed on the experience. The prices seemed to be a little excessive and most of the barbecue was somewhat disappointing. It didn't have much flavor on its own but when combined with the barbecue sauces, the flavor was good. The Sauces themselves had a lot of flavor but the rest was lacking in some.
When I walked into Porter’s I was excited by the smell of delicious barbecue, but was let down by the actual product. It wasn’t bad, just nothing to write home about. My pulled pork sandwich was cold, and I was told the mac snd cheese was runny and not good. Again not bad, but not as fulfilling as I thought it’d be and for the price I wanted more.
