Uptown Restaurant - Kenora

Whenever our family (usually 6 or more) wants to go for breakfast, we always pick the Uptown! Such friendly service! Menu has something for everyone and they make kids feel like royalty! Theresa (the owner) treats everyone like family!

Very slow, tight and not clean. Waited over an hour for service. People were leaving and angry. They were short staffed. What can I say ? Once we got the food, I only ate 1/2 because my appetite had left me...

This is a great little spot for a casual breakfast and lunch. Breakfast is especially delicious and the Friday lunch special is always a hit. The service is quick, friendly and efficient.

The Uptown doesn't look like very much from the outside and the inside decor isn't anything fancy but the food is really good! Homemade burgers and fries, lunch and all day breakfast. Awesome! Uptown burger is so tasty with a really nice fried egg on top. Will definitely be back to have that again!

We frequently have breakfast at the Uptown and it is always good. A friend of mine says the Eggs Benedict are the best around. Service is good as well. They serve all-day breakfast, which we like. Even got a sample of their Dill Pickle Soup recently. Didn't expect to like it but was pleasantly surprized.
