Bidra med feedbackWhat a stain! Been in Cavendish Glasgow for a week and over. Finally remained and had a wonderful experience and food! Owner Alan and Chef Bill have a great place here. We had Fish and Chips best that I had this trip! Award-winning seafood knower was definitely award-winning! Seafood linguini and gluten-free options are estimated! Visit this restaurant is worth waiting!
Fantastic!. In the beginning of August spend a weekend in the area.... really fresh and well prepared seafood. Service was friendly, fast and known. GM and boss were incredibly friendly...big time had from all.
Tastiest fish we've had on the east coast so far! We also tried oysters and clams and they were delish! The atmosphere was great- the view was amazing. Staff was great too! Cheers from Ottawa!
Not impressed. We arrived at 1pm, July 2nd, not a full restaurant by any means. Great location. No one seemed to be ready to take our order. We ordered by 1:20, got our meal at 2:10, think that was a bit of a wait for a po boy and a salad. My salad was a country cobb, supposed to have chicken, bacon, blue cheese. No chicken, and when I mentioned it the girl came back and said she was supposed to tell us they were out of chicken, but that the chef did put extra bacon and blue cheese on it. Paid same price. Husband enjoyed the oyster poboy. I really liked the flavour of the salad but was looking forward to the chicken. Water was good, I had 4 glasses, waiting for our meal...Don't think we will be returning any time soon.
We were a group of three on a quest to find the best chowder on the island, and one of us declared this to be their favorite! The chowder was delicious; it had a slightly creamy texture packed with seafood and the usual vegetable accompaniments. I would have happily licked the bowl clean if I could! We also tried the lobster roll, which was served on a hamburger bun with a light mayo dressing. The lobster meat was a mix of chunks and shreds, and there was plenty of it. While it wasn't our top choice on the island, it was still quite tasty. Additionally, we had fish tacos topped generously with fresh ingredients. They were flavorful and filling. The oysters were, of course, local and had a pleasant taste. However, I had to sift through some shavings and sand left behind by the shucking process, which could have been better, especially given the slower pace of the afternoon. The service was lively and attentive, with staff appearing at just the right times to offer menu suggestions and recommend local craft beers. They ensured we had plenty of fresh water as well. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant. Our total bill came to around $100 for three people, which included appetizers, main courses, drinks, oysters, and a tip. It was quite reasonable for the quality of the experience.
