We frequently eat in and do takeout here. The food is excellent. They often are short staffed as most places are, but it's a quiet place to eat and have a drink. They are family friendly and have a hugh TV screen for games. Prices are reasonable. We appreciate the restaurant most for the quiet atmosphere and the great food and come also for drinks and conversation that is hard to do in some other popular places in the area.
I was very pleased with both the service and the food. I had the bangers and mash, and the other members of my group had the pesto pasta and salmon. We all loved our food and the portion sizes were decent. Service was fast and friendly. Prices were definitely fair. Plenty of parking too.
Live music . The waitress was friendly and informative about the food and beverages.
Take a nostalgic trip back to a place where you wished you had made memories in your younger days. Nestled next to the golf course in Kent, this charming Irish-themed restaurant and bar boasts a delightful ambiance. The customer service is exceptional; the staff genuinely makes you feel at home. The food exceeds expectations for bar fare, offering both quirky dishes and beloved classics. On our last visit, we tried the amazing Harp bites—unconventional cheese balls paired with a sweet berry sauce. The Irish potato cakes, a tasty blend of shredded potatoes, corned beef, and sauerkraut, were outstanding. Honestly, everything I've ordered here has been generously portioned, bursting with flavor, and expertly seasoned. For dinner, I opted for the Guinness stew and a house salad, while my husband had the Cobb salad. Both salads were fresh and topped generously, and the stew was warm and incredibly satisfying in a way that's hard to put into words. If you haven't experienced this place for lunch or dinner, you're truly missing out. So take some time one afternoon to visit; you won't regret it!
